How to Promote an Opportunity on the Internet--When the Company Doesn't Allow Internet Advertising
Quite a few major companies don't allow Internet advertising. Some have had bad experiences with associates sending out unsolicited email and getting them into trouble. Others are simply afraid of the power of the Internet.
There is an easy way to get around this, and most companies quietly approve of this method.
1. Advertise your opportunity in a "blind" ad that touts the main benefits without mentioning the name of the company. Readers don't mind if you don't provide ALL the details in a classified ad. Normally you can spill the beans and offer complete information on a web site or in an email.
2. Offer a free report via autoresponder. Aweber.com has a clever system that sends your prospect an info letter, then follows up for up to 7 times with additional sales letters or reports. This is one of the most effective ways to remind prospects to buy.
3. Keep in mind that even if you can't mention the name of the company, not all is lost. Customers care most about the benefits your product or service provides. Spend lots of time showing prospects how your product or service will improve their lives. Let them know they can contact you personally for deep details. You can give them company info then.
