Yes! You CAN Get FREE Internet Access
Recently a friend who owns an Internet technology company told me, "Everything on the Internet moves toward free." It looks like he is right.
Just when all the pundits are telling us that Internet access will be getting more expensive, lots of FREE access services are popping up all over the world. In most cases, they work just like Juno's famous free email service. In exchange for free dial-up service you have to endure a few ads (as if AOL and others don't already make you endure ads!).
FreeI.net provides dial-up Internet access and email in metropolitan areas across the U.S. (http://www.freei.net/)
Owner Bob McCausland says the company has operating revenues of $11.7 million. "Our goal is to provide free high quality, Internet access and email service while offering a unique, highly-targeted advertising venue for local advertisers."
NetZero offers unlimited FREE Internet access in 50 states.
They correctly estimate that most of us are paying around $250 per year to our ISPs. http://www.netzero.com/
The Tritium Network provides Internet access in major markets across the US. (http://www.tritium.net/) They claim to be the only one who does NOT watch your activities online. Tritium points out if you're an AOL user, and would like to keep AOL, save over 50% on your monthly fee by using AOL's much cheaper "bring your own" package in combination with a free ISP.
FREEWWWEB Internet access is currently available in more than 1000 cities across the U.S.A. (http://www.allfree4u.com/freeaccess/)
